The evening is enlivened by the Folk Group from Montagna (Bolzano), who perform classic choreographies from the South Tyrolean tradition, accompanied by the notes of the accordion
The dancers from South Tyrol, in pairs, present themselves to the audience in traditional costumes, elaborately woven and brightly coloured, formerly worn on feast days or even at weddings. The programme includes the performance of various dances in sequence to musical compositions handed down from generation to generation. It starts with an entrance dance, followed by various waltzes, polkas and the final salute.
At 9.15 p.m. in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building in Soraga (tourist office). Free entry.
