Once again this year, the Fiemme and Fassa valleys welcome Accordion Week, a travelling festival that brings squares and theatres to life with the music of great performers from the national music scene. In Campitello, the spotlight is on Pierpaolo Petta, originally from "Piana degli Albanesi", one of the most vibrant Arbëreshë communities in Sicily. These are historical Albanian minorities who settled in Italy in the 15th century and still preserve their own language, culture and traditions. In his concert, "Viaggio di un Arbëresh" (Journey of an Arbëresh), folk music intertwines with original pieces and forays into the world of Piazzolla and Galliano, in a journey with the accordion as the common thread. With her authentic and versatile voice, Petta interprets and reinvents, giving shape to a musical narrative that traverses past and present with naturalness and intensity. Among her most significant collaborations are Remo Anzovino, Olen Cesari, Inva Mula, Nicola Piovani, Antonella Ruggiero, Sergio Vespertino, Gioele Dix and Peppe Voltarelli. Petta's music is not just music: it is a return to his roots, a bridge between worlds, a voice that tells the story of who we were and who we can still be. Every note is a memory that vibrates, every silence a root that emerges.
At 9 p.m. at the events pavilion "Ischia", nearby the station of the cable car "Col Rodella". Free entry.
