Gastronomic route with tasting of typical dishes and musical entertainment in the characteristic centre of the hamlet of Penìa
A small village with an enchanting atmosphere, a square nestled between ancient stone houses and wooden barns, with a fountain of clear alpine water in the centre. From 8 p.m., Penìa comes alive with "Tel Cher de Penìa", an evening filled with authenticity, genuine flavours and living traditions. In the heart of one of the most authentic villages in the Val di Fassa, in the shadow of the Marmolada - where the original layout of the Dolomite mountain villages is still visible - you can breathe in the rural soul of a bygone era, made up of livestock farming, agriculture and strong ties to the land.
During the event, it will be a pleasure to stroll through the cobbled streets and picturesque square: tastings of local gastronomic specialities, artisans at work and lots of folk music will make the evening unforgettable. Don't miss a visit to the church of Saints Sebastian and Rocco, the spiritual heart of the village. Saint Rocco, in particular, is celebrated in August with a popular festival animated by the folk group "Grop de la Mèscres de Delba e Penìa", which proudly preserves the ancient carnival rituals of the Ladin tradition.
Tickets can be purchased for € 20 at the cash desks, open from 7 p.m. In case of bad weather the event will be held on the following day.
