Mountain beers, master brewers and authentic flavours: Canazei hosts Italy's most award-winning craft beer festival
Water, malt, hops, yeast. These simple ingredients give rise to a fascinating and nuanced world: that of craft beer. For ten years, the Val di Fassa has been dedicating "La Bira te Fascia" to this culture, and in particular to mountain beers. The festival is scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 July. At the Fassa Park in Canazei, three days of taste and conviviality celebrate the mastery of some of the most award-winning breweries of recent years, immersed in the unique scenery of Sella, Pordoi and Gran Vernel. Guided tastings, masterclasses for enthusiasts and curious visitors, workshops for children, live music and authentic mountain cuisine: the festival showcases the region's passion for quality, the authenticity of its traditions and the pleasure of being together.
The breweries taking part in the festival are: Birrificio del Catria in Cantiano (Pesaro-Urbino), Crighel Bräu in Moena, Trulla - Birra indipendente de Sardigna (Nuoro), Cantina Errante in Barberino Tavarnelle (Florence), Brasseria Alpina in San Germano Chisone (Turin) and Batzen Häusl in Bolzano.
