A farm experience to get up close and personal with animals, learn how to care for them and discover the beauty of rural life in the high mountains
Have you ever walked a little lamb? It's time for this curious experience! Once in the cowshed, you can start interacting with these docile animals, take care of them and accompany them to the pasture on a short walk. On your return to the farm, another little surprise awaits you: you will collect fresh eggs from the hens, which you can then cook and enjoy on the spot, savouring their simple flavour.
Schedule and meeting point: every Friday from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at the Malga Jumela. The facility can be reached by an easy walk downhill from "Buffaure" in about 40 minutes (reachable by gondola; return uphill). Activity suitable for children of at least 3 years of age. Difficulty level: medium; no trekking strollers. Comfortable clothing and sports shoes are recommended.
Price: 5 € per person, payable directly on site. Booking required by calling +39 348 9301215 after 4 p.m. Ticket for the lifts and any packed lunch or lunch at the mountain hut to be paid for by participants. Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer are valid for the gondola. Activity cancelled in case of bad weather.
