Hike along the Crepa Neigra via ferrata, accompanied by mountain guides, taking in views of the Dolomites and sections suspended in volcanic rock
The sound of carabiners sliding along the steel cable, your heart beating a little faster, the view opening up onto the Dolomites. The Crepa Neigra via ferrata at Ciampac is the ideal experience for those wishing to try their hand at via ferrata for the first time, always accompanied by expert mountain guides from the Val di Fassa. Step by step, you climb this mountain of unique volcanic origin, following a scenic route offering spectacular views of the Marmolada, Gran Vernel, the Sella Group, Sassolungo and Catinaccio. An itinerary accessible even to beginners, designed to teach you how to use the via ferrata kit with all due care and to experience the thrill of altitude gradually. An activity that combines adrenaline, discovery and wonder, perfect for those who dream of experiencing the mountains from a new perspective.
Meeting point: every Tuesday at 8.30 am at the departure station of Ciampac gondola in Alba di Canazei. Return scheduled for around 4 pm. Medium difficulty. Children aged 12 and over who are used to walking in the mountains.
Price: € 130 per person, including via ferrata kit hire. Lift pass costs are to be paid by participants. Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer Pass are valid. Online booking is compulsory. Limited places available, minimum 3 people. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the Roda de Vael (Vigo-Catinaccio) or Bepi Zac (Moena-Costabella) via ferratas may be offered instead, on a rotational basis.
Sportswear, gloves and hiking boots are required. We recommend bringing a small rucksack with a windproof/rain jacket, a bottle of water and snacks. Packed lunch or lunch at a mountain hut at the participants' discretion. The activity will be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
