Like bats - "notole" in Ladin - runners race through the streets of the village at dusk. 50th edition of the timed race, with the final award ceremony in the square
If you are a "night owl", the "Giro de le notole" (Bat Tour), scheduled for 9 p.m. in Moena, is just the thing for you! An event open to everyone, organised for 50 years by the Monti Pallidi sport association, which invites you to enjoy sport... in the moonlight.
You can run or walk along a 6 km route, timed (from 9 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.), starting and finishing in the central square "Piaz de Sotegrava", passing through the most characteristic corners of the village. While waiting for the start, from 3 p.m., the square is decked out with music, DJs, candyfloss, face painting and the legendary "fortaie" (traditional fried sweets)!
The categories in the race are: super baby pram, baby, puppies, beginners, juniors, adults, seniors, veterans, pioneers. For the athletes, the time to beat is 21'30 minutes.
Registration fee (Euro 15) at the gazebo in the "Piaz de Sotegrava", Wednesday, 13 August from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, 14 August from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
