A refined concert by the Dionisi Group String Orchestra, dedicated to the great works of the European Baroque
There is a kind of music which, three centuries on, continues to flow as naturally as water. With North Baroque, the Dionisi Group String Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Ivo Brigadoi - a cellist from Predazzo and conductor of the Rio Bianco Choir in Panchià, Val di Fiemme - presents a programme that bridges the banks of the Thames and the Baltic Sea through some of the most elegant works in the Baroque repertoire.
From the Roman Overture in F to Handel's famous Water Music suites, the concert alternates between vigour, balance and refinement, creating a dialogue between musical traditions that have shaped the history of European music. An event dedicated to those who love to be carried away by the expressive power of the strings and the timeless beauty of live music.
At the events pavilion in Pozza at 9.15 pm with free admission.
