The young dancers from Val di Fiemme, proud to dust off local dances and traditions, perform typical choreographies accompanied by the cheerful notes of the accordion
The "Aizenponeri" bring the folk dances and traditions of the Val di Fiemme to the stage, with a repertoire in which music, the local landscape and collective memory intertwine naturally. The group's name evokes an important chapter in local history: that of the generations from Fiemme who, in times of economic hardship, were forced to emigrate to work on the major railway projects of Central Europe.
A young and dynamic ensemble, comprising six pairs of dancers aged between 15 and 25 and an accordionist, the group has performed at folk festivals in Italy and abroad, bringing Trentino culture to Romania, Hungary and Germany.
During the show, they will perform folk dances such as "Il ballo del feudo", "La rosa dei venti", "Il ballo delle lavandaie" and "L'Holzòcher", the traditional woodcutter's dance.
At 9.15 pm in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building in Soraga (tourist office). Admission free.
