An evening dedicated to the traditions of the Val di Fiemme with the "El Salvanel" Folk Group from Cavalese, which has been an ambassador for Trentino culture and folklore for over forty years.
The group's name is inspired by "Salvanel", the small, lively woodland sprite who features in the ancient legends of the Fiemme region and symbolises the deep bond between the community and the local area. Founded in 1979, the group performs folk dances, traditional music and traditional costumes that bring to life the stories, customs and everyday life of the Alpine valleys. The cheerful and engaging choreography recreates for the audience the authentic atmosphere of the festivals of yesteryear. Over the years, "El Salvanel" has represented Trentino at numerous international events and festivals, taking the cultural heritage of the Val di Fiemme beyond Italy’s borders and passing on these precious values to new generations.
At 9.15 pm in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building in Soraga (tourist office). Admission free.
