Eleven artists on stage, live music, dance and visuals to celebrate one of the most iconic bands of all time
Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Somebody to Love: just a few notes are enough to transport you straight into the world of Queen. "Queen - The Great Show" takes its cue from this, but without striving for a perfect replica. The concept makes it clear: !Not imitation, but celebration".
On stage, 11 performers - including musicians, singers and dancers – weave the band’s most famous tracks together with dance, song and video segments dedicated to their history. The result is not simply a tribute band, but a show that seeks to recreate that blend of music, theatricality and stage presence that made Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon so unmistakable.
This isn't about finding a new Freddie Mercury. It's about rekindling the desire to sing along to the real thing, from We Are the Champions to Radio Ga Ga, including the tracks that have spanned decades without losing their power. An evening for those who lived through the Queen era, for those who discovered them later, and for those who, as soon as the first chorus kicks in, already know all the words.
At 9:00 pm at the Marmolada Cinema Theatre. Admission fee applies; fixed seating. Advance tickets available on Liveticket.
