The Dolomites take shape grain by grain in artist Giulia Mucignato's sand art performance
An illuminated table, a few grains of sand and an extraordinary ability to transform them into constantly shifting images. Artist Giulia Mucignato brings to life a poetic and captivating show, where landscapes, faces and evocative scenes take shape before the audience's eyes, only to transform, fade away and be reborn as new figures.
Music accompanies every gesture, amplifying emotions and atmospheres in a narrative that blends art, creativity and imagination. Each image is born from the artist's hands and evolves in real time, creating an experience capable of captivating young and old alike.
A graduate of the Art Institute, Giulia Mucignato has turned her passion for drawing and painting into a profession and, since 2011, has been taking her shows all over Italy. This time she comes up here, to the foot of the Dolomites, which become a source of inspiration and the protagonists of a story that comes to life grain by grain.
At 9 pm in the main square. In case of bad weather, the show will take place at the events pavilion in Ischia, near the Col Rodella 3S cable car. Admission is free.
