Small traditional market with stalls in the centre of the village
From 8:00 a.m. to early afternoon, the two squares and the avenue along the Avisio river are lined with stalls and stands selling food, sweets, clothing, household items, sports equipment, fabrics and handicrafts.
The September fair is one of Moena's historic events, heir to a tradition linked to the agricultural and pastoral economy of the mountains. In the past, these markets were an opportunity to stock up on provisions and useful goods for the long winter, brought by travelling traders from nearby towns. They were also a break from work in the fields and stables, attracting people from all over the valley.
