The "zampognari" - traditional bagpipers with ancient pastoral origins - arrive in Moena to bring the festive season to life. At 5 p.m., Salento musicians Giovanni Borraro (playing the "ciaramella" or shawm) and Mario Spolidoro (playing the "zampogna" or bagpipe), dressed in traditional costumes, will perform along the streets of the centre, among the little market huts, in an evocative concert of Christmas melodies and Neapolitan folk songs. There is music, there is atmosphere, and there is the sunset glowing over the soaring peaks of the Roda de Vael. There are festive decorations, the lights, the tree - and to warm you up, a fragrant cup of hot mulled wine. We look forward to welcoming you!
