There is a trail at Alpe Lusia that winds through high-altitude woods and meadows inhabited by… who knows? Accompanied by a mountain guide who knows them well, we'll tiptoe into this little hidden world. Amidst larch, mountain pine and fir trees, rhododendron bushes and soft cushions of moss, we will walk, following clues and searching for mysterious gnomes hidden here and there, watching us intently. If we listen carefully and show ourselves to be friends of nature, they will reveal secrets and curiosities about life in the mountains and tell us the stories of these places. At the end of the walk, around 12.30 pm, a well-deserved lunch awaits us at the mountain hut.
Meeting Point: every Thursday at 10 am at the valley station of the Ronchi-Valbona gondola. Duration: approximately 2.30 hours. Difficulty: easy. The route is not suitable for pushchairs. Return to the valley by lift.
Price including gondola, guided excursion/experience and lunch: € 36 for adults, € 27 for juniors aged 8 to 18 (born after 01/01/2008), € 18 for children (born after 01/01/2018). For holders of the Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer pass: € 20 for adults, € 18 for juniors and children. Registration at the Fassa Sport office in Moena, by phone on +39 0462 573770 or online by 6 pm on the previous day. This activity is held in Italian only. Experience organised by Fassa Sport in collaboration with the SIF Lusia lift company.
Suitable clothing and footwear are required. The programme may vary depending on weather conditions. In case of thunderstorms or bad weather, the activity may be postponed or cancelled.
