An unmissable destination in Val di Fassa, where nature puts on a show: the heart of the Catinaccio, one of the most precious jewels of the Dolomites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the village of Pera, we will take the chairlifts that will take us comfortably to "Pra Martin", an exceptional vantage point overlooking the cliffs of Larsech, surrounded by a chorus of majestic peaks: Monzoni, Costabella, Cima Uomo, Marmolada, Pordoi, Sella and Sassolungo. A view that encompasses the entire Dolomite arc, amid the light, shadows and silence of the high altitude. From here, we will begin our splendid circular hike at the foot of the majestic Catinaccio Massif and the legendary Vaiolet Towers, an iconic symbol of the Fassa Dolomites and classic mountaineering. During the hike, we will stop for lunch - either a packed lunch or at the Vajolet and Preuss mountain huts. The return journey will take us through the spectacular Gardeccia amphitheatre, before taking the Sentiero delle Leggende (Legends Trail), which will lead us to "Pian Pecei", where we will take the chairlift back down to the valley.
Children aged 12 and over. Medium/difficult level. Sports clothing (layered) and hiking boots are required.
Schedule and meeting point: every Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. at the Vajolet chairlift departure station in Pera. Return scheduled for approximately 4 p.m.
Price: € 36 per person. Lift ticket and packed lunch or lunch at the refuge are at the participants' expense. The Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer cards are valid for the lifts.
Limited enrolment activity, organised by "Impianti a Fune Catinaccio" lift company. Compulsory registration online, at the Sport Check Points in the valley or by phone on +39 0462 870997 within 6 p.m. of the previous day. Activity cancelled in case of bad weather with refund of the fee paid.
