Moena, the "Fairy of the Dolomites", becomes a magic Christmas village with wooden houses, concerts, treats and children's carousels
Following the Northern Europe tradition, the "Fairy of the Dolomites" turns into a Christmas village, with even the Christmas markets settled in the squares "Piaz de Ramon", "Piaz de Sotegrava" and "Perla Alpina". From November 25th to January 6th (November 25th and 26th, from December 1st to 3rd, from December 7th to 10th, from December 15th to 17th, from December 22nd to 24th, from December 26th to January 6th), it will be possible to walk through the joyfully illuminated town-centre until 6.30 p.m., through tiny fires and 16 traditional wooden houses and buy artisanal objects and souvenirs to remember the holiday in Moena. Children will be able to play and ride the little train on rails and the horse carousel together with the woodland elves, as well as watch funny shows and take part in creativity workshops at "Fiabilandia" park. The atmosphere will be warmed up by many travelling musical events, starting with the inauguration on Saturday 25 November at 5 p.m.
How good are you at treasure hunts? Have fun with "Puppy Christmas", the travelling game that takes you to discover Moena. You will have to search for 8 little animals of the wood that have hidden themselves in the most characteristic corners of the village. Info, tickets and kit at the little house of the Moena Events Committee or at the Fiabilandia playground (€ 5).
Saturday 9th, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th December, you will also have the honour of accompanying Santa and his elves in a carriage through the characteristic neighbourhood of "Turchia" (chargeable, €3 for adults, €2 for children, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., departing from the square "Piaz de Ramon").
