A festive evening in Alba di Canazei with music, street performances and tastings of local specialities
As the sun sets, the unmistakable silhouette of the Sassolungo stands out against the evening sky and the village lights come on; the main street of Alba di Canazei takes on a new look, transforming into a lively space dedicated to socialising, music and entertainment.
For one evening, the street will be closed to traffic and reserved for pedestrians. Musicians, stilt-walkers and performers will accompany visitors as they stroll through the town centre, bringing the whole route to life with shows and entertainment.
There'll be no shortage of local flavours: by purchasing tokens at the counters (€ 2 each, with a minimum purchase of 5 tokens, totalling € 10), you can choose from a range of sweet and savoury options and create your own tasting trail, to be enjoyed with beer, hot mulled apple wine, syrups or grappa. To round off the festive atmosphere, a small market featuring local craftspeople and stalls run by local associations will showcase the vibrancy and strong community spirit of Canazei.
In case of bad weather, it will be postponed to the following day. We recommend parking at the ice rink.
