An open-air show in which planets, aerial acrobatics and stilt-walkers transform the square into a universe to be explored
What if, all of a sudden, the solar system were to wander amongst us? It is from this idea that Viaggio Cosmico was born, the grand open-air show by the Luca Piallini theatre company, where stilt-walkers, aerial dance, music and poetry transform the square into a universe waiting to be discovered.
Led by an enigmatic Atlas standing over three metres tall, the performers draw the audience into a wordless narrative woven from encounters, gestures and giant suspended planets. The spheres become worlds to imagine; the Sun and Moon take shape before the spectators' eyes; and the Earth, suspended in the air, reminds us of the extraordinary beauty of our planet.
A visually striking show, where acrobatics, dance and street theatre intertwine in a poetic experience that invites you to gaze at the sky with the wonder of a child.
At 9 pm in the town's main square. In case of bad weather, the show will be postponed to Wednesday 12 August.
