For the traditional summer music festival, the vocal group Sintagma will be performing in the square, with a repertoire spanning traditional music, spirituals, gospel and contemporary music
Traditional mountain songs inspired by the grandiose Alpine landscapes, glaciers, forests and legends of the Dolomites. Every Thursday evening, we will be able to listen to pieces skilfully performed by local choral groups, who will entertain us in an exciting concert, sure to be appreciated by valley dwellers and tourists alike. At 9.15 pm, the vocal group Sintagma will perform in the square in front of the tourist office in Vigo.
When it's just the voices, every nuance takes on even greater power. It is from this idea that the concert by the vocal group Sintagma from Feltre stems; an a cappella ensemble that has been exploring diverse repertoires for almost twenty years, combining musical exploration with the joy of singing together. Comprising five singers, the group presents a programme ranging from folk songs to spirituals and gospel, including jazz arrangements, Italian and international pop, and traditional Alpine songs. Each piece is performed exclusively by the voices, which are capable of creating harmonies, rhythm and emotion without instrumental accompaniment. A concert that places the voice at the centre as an instrument, offering an intense and engaging listening experience, where different repertoires come together in a balance of precision, sensitivity and shared passion.
The concert is free of charge. In case of bad weather at the events pavilion in front of Hotel Vael.
