As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, concert at the break of dawn by Clara Romita at Baita Prà Martin hut at Ciampedie
"Clauscalmo" is a project by Clara Romita, born in Lecce in 1994, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter living in Milan. The project moves between 60s-style retro-folk, psychedelia, bossa nova and evocative lyrics, similar in form to nursery rhymes. The tour for Record (2022), her first post-rock-inspired EP, also stopped off at MI AMI, Arti Vive, Bleech and in the theatre for Sofar Sounds.
At 6.00 pm at Baita Prà Martin, at an altitude of 2042 m. The refuge can be reached by cable car from Vigo (open for the occasion at 5.00 am) and then on foot, in about 15 minutes. Adult tickets €27 return, junior tickets €19 return. Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer are NOT valid. Free concert. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed to the following day, Thursday, 31 July, at the same time. It is possible to stop for breakfast at the refuge (for a fee).
"Clauscalmo" is one of the shows of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, from 25 July to 3 August, the Val di Fassa will host established street artists and talented international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations, turn into exceptional stages for astonishing performances, both in ability and creativity. The festival is organised by Fassa’s group of jugglers "Circensema", founded in 2017 in partnership with the local association "Inout", which for some years has been practising the circus art and also training, together with professionals, some teenagers that perform in a few shows throughout the year, juxtaposing juggling and theatre.
