How to get to Val di Fassa by train and bus
Planning a week or a weekend in the mountains without a car? In July and August, and from December to March, there is a direct connection from the Ora/Auer train station to Val di Fassa every Saturday and Sunday.
Thanks to this rail-to-bus intermodal service, travellers from Rome, Florence, Bologna and Verona can take a high-speed train to Ora/Auer and then continue comfortably by bus to Moena, Vigo and Canazei. The stops are located at:
- Moena (Strada R. Löwy)
- Sèn Jan di Fassa - Vigo/San Giovanni (Hotel Dolomiti)
- Canazei (Strèda de Parèda - Belvedere lifts)

The bus service operates:
- every day from 20 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, except 25 December 2025 and 1 January 2026
- every Saturday and Sunday from 10 January to 29 March 2026
- on 2, 3, 4 and 6 April 2026
You may transport one small dog, cat or other small pet free of charge, provided that it travels in a suitable carrier with maximum dimensions of 70×30×50 cm, designed to prevent injury or damage to passengers or the vehicle, and that the carrier is kept on your lap for the entire duration of the journey.
