Mobility and services guaranteed during the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games
Val di Fassa is preparing to welcome the Olympic spirit with the vitality and warmth that have always distinguished it. From February 6 to 22, during the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics, and then from March 6 to 15 during the Paralympics, the area will experience all the excitement of the Games, which will partly take place near the valley, without any restrictions on services. the venues for cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, and para biathlon are located in Predazzo and Lago di Tesero, in the nearby Val di Fiemme, where a third of the Olympic medals will be awarded.
Throughout the Games, mobility and services in Val di Fassa will be guaranteed. The road network at the bottom of the valley will remain unchanged and no closures or restrictions are planned, even during the evening competitions at the Predazzo Ski Jump Stadium (except in exceptional circumstances). The presence of security forces and public transport dedicated to spectators will be increased, with slightly longer travel times possible on competition days. The only closure to bear in mind is the cable car and car park at the Ski Center Latemar in Predazzo, which will not be accessible from February 2 to 22, 2026, while the ski resort will remain open thanks to the Pampeago and Obereggen access points.
The Val di Fassa is thus ready to ensure efficiency, hospitality, and peace of mind for guests and residents who want to experience the excitement of the Olympics up close in the heart of the Dolomites.
