The Viel dal Pan (Bindelweg in German) is one of the most beautiful panoramic trails connecting Passo Pordoi to Passo Fedaia. From Ladin "bread route", because in the past it was the preferred route of flour merchants from Belluno who reached the Val di Fassa. It is recommended to reach Passo Pordoi from Canazei by public transport or with the lifts (Belvedere cable car and Col dei Rossi cableway; funifor Alba-Col dei Rossi). Paid parking in front of the Belvedere cable car station in Canazei. Only the section of the trail from Col dei Rossi to Rifugio Viel dal Pan is suitable for families with children and can be covered with a baby carrier/backpack, no strollers.
