Between natural river springs and eruptive rocks

Fontanazzo is the largest hamlet of Mazzin and borders Campitello to the north. It is made up of two parts, Fontanazzo di Sopra and Fontanazzo di Sotto. The latter is home to the town hall, decorated with bas-reliefs depicting the traditional activities of the past. It is an area where history, landscape and geology intertwine step by step on the valley floor of Val di Fassa.
