The Friedrich August Weg, inaugurated on July 30, 1911, is dedicated to King Frederick Augustus III of Saxony, a frequent visitor to the valley. Trail no. 557 connects the Sella pass through the Sela Rodela to the former Seiseralpe refuge. The trail up to the Sandro Pertini Refuge is suitable for families with children and passable with a baby carrier/backpack, not with strollers.
