It is the only hiking access route to the Re Alberto Refuge and the fairy-tale-like Gartl basin, one of the most suggestive and well-known places of the Fassa Dolomites, facing the mythical Vaiolet Towers. The route develops on steep terrain of rocks and scree and is equipped in the more challenging sections with metal ropes. Only the section from Gardeccia to the Vajolet Refuge is suitable for families with children and can be done with a baby carrier/backpack.
