Ciampedie - Malga Vael - Roda di Vael and Baita Pederiva huts - Paolina Hut (Carezza)

The route connects the natural balcony of Ciampedie to the Roda di Vael and Baita Pederiva huts. It continues along the panoramic path (Hirzelweg), where you can find the large bronze eagle dedicated to Theodor Christomannos.

Variants:

1. "Vial da le feide", from Baita Pra Martin to the Roda di Vael Hut
2. just beyond the Baita Marino Pederiva, on the left, you take hiking trail no. 548 which in 1 hour 45 minutes leads to the pass, near the Hotel Savoy
3. from the Paolina Hut you can descend on foot, without taking the chairlift, following trail no. 552.

The route, better if done in the opposite direction, is suitable for families with children (from 8 years) and accessible with a baby carrier/backpack.
