At the foot of the south side of Marmolada, in the realm of the beautiful Conturina, punished for her beauty, a route that condenses, in a small stretch, the Ladin essence of the mountain. The marked tracks are exclusively beaten by the passage of hikers and do not provide for maintenance or mechanical grooming. Furthermore, there are no specific route signs along the path. We recommend always paying the utmost attention to the ground, which may have icy or slippery sections, especially in shaded areas. No refreshment points along the route. At the trailhead there is a Girsberger Artva checkpoint allowing ski mountaineers or snowshoers equipped with self-rescue gear to check the status of their device. The checkpoint also records passages, so you know exactly how many people pass on the trail and how many of them have the Artva.
