From Malga Boer to the Fuciade basin, a spectacular limestone amphitheatre dominated by majestic peaks (known in Ladin as "l'Om", "Jigolé", "Sas de Valfreida"). It is a heavenly place, dotted with barns, mostly rebuilt after the First World War.
Pass (about 11 km). Go over the pass and the parking lot of "Col Margherita" cable car. Take the paved road on the left hand side leading to the refuges Fuciade and Flora Alpina. Pass near Malga Boer and, before a small bridge, go up the short ramp on the left. Reach the parking space and leave your car there. Walk along the steep path that goes through the meadows and leads to the first huts of Fuciade. Only in the last part the trail becomes easier. Near Hotel Miralago you reach the road coming from San Pellegrino Pass. You will quickly reach the refuge, excellent restaurant, surrounded by the majestic peaks of Cima Uomo and Sas de Valfreida. Come back along the same itinerary.

The stretch from Fuciade to the crossroads at "Sbrinz" is also traversed by snowmobiles, snowcats, and a horse-drawn sleigh. Please beware of the transit of these vehicles and of the presence of mountaineering skiers.
At the start of the route, there’s a Girsberger Artva checkpoint, allowing mountaineering skiers and snowshoers, equipped with self-rescue equipment, to check the state of their device. The checkpoint also keeps track of the passages, in order to know exactly how many people pass through this route and how many of them have the Artva.
