The route crosses Val de Udai and Val de Dona, two evocative, secluded, and wild places located in the north-east foothills of the Catinaccio Group. The valleys meet on the vast and pleasant meadows of Camerloi, from where the path continues to Lake Antermoia. The use of trekking poles is recommended. There are no mountain huts in Val de Udai.
