The hike offers an alternative to the classic high-altitude walk, discovering the Fuciade basin from another perspective and crossing into Val Fredda (Falcade), which is less known but equally fascinating and interesting from a geological point of view. Only the sections from Passo San Pellegrino to Fuciade and from Malga Boer to Val Fredda (small church) are accessible with a trekking stroller. The only huts/refreshment points along the route are: Rifugio Fuciade, Rifugio Flora Alpina, Malga Boer. Carriage transport service, horse-drawn, from the pass to Rifugio Fuciade, for a fee (suspended for summer 2025). Presence of free-roaming grazing animals. Also worth visiting are the San Pellegrino waterfalls, reachable on foot by following the path behind Malga Boer.
