Autumn version of the Dolomiti Trek King, sleeping in huts and walking for 3 days among landscapes and forests that light up with golden shades. The first stage will take you from Pian Pecei to the Antermoia Hut, with a climb to the Vaiolet Towers. Option: from here, about an hour's walk, you reach the Re Alberto I Hut. Adding a further 20 minutes, you reach the Passo Santner Hut. Return to the Vaiolet and Preuss huts by the same route. Climb along trail no. 584, with a steady ascent, the right side of the upper Vaiolet Valley, at the head of which the massive bulk of the Catinaccio d’Antermoia becomes increasingly impressive. With a steep final zigzag, you reach the Passo Principe Hut, leaning against a rock face just a few meters from the pass itself. Turn right passing at the base of the great wall of the Catinaccio d'Antermoia and then climb again with a steep zigzag along the scree slope up to Passo Antermoia. Descend on the other side into the Antermoia valley, follow the lake, and reach the hut. Total walking time with detour to Passo Santner Hut: 6 hours (4 hours without detour). Organized high-altitude trekking for 3 days, hut to hut, to discover on foot the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites of Fassa. Use of lifts: 2 (Vajolet chairlifts 1 and 2). The itinerary consists of 3 stages along well-marked CAI-SAT trails. From any point, you can descend to the valley and, thanks to shuttle services, lifts, or local public transport, easily return to the starting location.
