This is the king of trekking in Val di Fassa, among the most exciting mountains in the world. The fifth stage will take you from Lake Antermoia to Gardeccia. Detour: from the Vaiolet Refuge, about an hour’s walk away, reach the Re Alberto I Refuge (sign no. 542). Adding another twenty minutes of walking brings you to the Passo Santner Refuge, which offers breathtaking views over Latemar, Corno Nero and Corno Bianco, Ortles, Brenta, and up to the Austrian and Swiss Alps. You return along the same path. Organized high-altitude trekking for 6 days, from refuge to refuge, to discover on foot the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites of Fassa. The itinerary takes place over 6 stages along well-marked CAI-SAT paths. From any point you can descend to the valley, and thanks to shuttle services, ski lifts, or local public transport, easily return to the starting location.
