With Irene Deflorian, well-being is born from the body, breathes in nature and is rooted in the Val di Fassa.
Irene Deflorian is a teacher and scholar of Oriental Energy Disciplines, a kinesiologist-naturopath and a professional holistic operator. Born and raised in Val di Fassa, she lives in Vigo, where she directs the Tao Mountain Center: a space for listening, practice and research dedicated to the balance of the person. His proposal stems from the meeting of different and complementary skills: Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, kinesiology, naturopathy, coaching, sensory paths in the woods and alpine skiing. Disciplines and practices that are rooted in Eastern knowledge and integrated approaches, but which here, in the middle of the Dolomites, find a particularly lively dimension: breathing accords with the pace, movement with the landscape, listening to the body to the rhythms of nature. More than simple activities to relax, they are tools to get to know each other better, release energy, regain presence, harmony and confidence in their resources.
For Irene, the mountain is not a scenery, but a living part of the route. The forest, snow, water, wind, paths and silence become precious allies to accompany each person towards greater awareness. Each season offers something to grasp: the energy of rebirth, the lightness of movement, recollection, the strength of breathing.
With professionalism, experience and a sensitivity gained over time, Irene leads individual and group courses, events, retreats and workshops designed for those who want to approach these disciplines with confidence and gradually. Contact her to find out about upcoming activities and start the journey that's right for you.
