It is one of the most characteristic and frequented places in Canazei, much appreciated both by tourists and by the Valligiani themselves for the informal atmosphere, the friendly service, the rustic wooden environment, the sympathy of Paolo and Elena.
The tavern is located on the ground floor of the Cèsa Davarda in the historic centre, recognisable by the large eighteenth-century fresco depicting the Crucifixion with the "Maddalena" and Saints Simone and Floriano. You can sit at the counter or at the large tables. Attention... they invite long chats! Very popular since the time of the aperitif, it offers a sincere and sincere gastronomic proposal from an authentic gourmet tavern of yesteryear, where the raw materials, often local, are expertly cooked by the patron chef Paolo. Among the evergreen dishes on the menu: gnocchi, ravioli, tagliatelle, orzotto, polenta with sausage stewed at Teroldego. There is no shortage of off-paper extractions. What about desserts? As Paul says: "it depends on my wife!". The wine and spirits list is absolutely noteworthy.
