During the "Puzzone" Festival in Moena, a high-altitude dinner pays tribute to the king of PDO cheeses, with spectacular views of the Dolomites at sunset
A haven of taste where Michelin-starred cuisine blends with the simplicity of the highlands, with walls of light and views of the Dolomites. In December 2023, Michelin-starred chef Alfio Ghezzi found his second home in Val di Fassa with the InAlto restaurant, at 2,500 metres. Here, he has taken up the challenge of cooking at high altitude, making the most of the ingredients that have always nourished the mountain people - or rather, those who truly inhabit the highlands. A balanced cuisine, in harmony with the landscape, which enters the refuge at any time of day thanks to the large windows that define its architecture. Immersed in the view of the south face of the Marmolada, Pelmo, Civetta and Pale di San Martino, you can enjoy a break of pleasure and well-being that combines taste, scenery and silence in the highest heart of the Val di Fassa...
The InAlto restaurant can be reached by the Col Margherita cable car from San Pellegrino Pass, which is open exceptionally for the occasion.
Cable car departure times: 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m.

From 19 to 21 September, the Puzzone PDO Festival will take place once again in Moena, Soraga and Predazzo, celebrating the famous Trentino cheese with tastings, excursions, show cooking, workshops and the spectacular "Desmontegade" (return of the cattle from alpine summer pastures). For three days, immerse yourself in the flavours and traditions of the Alps in the Fassa and Fiemme valleys.
