Christmas shopping among wooden crafts, original accessories and traditional gastronomic specialities in one of the most charming village of Val di Fassa
On Friday 8 December, Campitello inaugurates an evocative market for true connoisseurs of Christmas atmospheres, balanced between the poetry of the crib and the enchantment of the Sassolungo in the background. The characteristic little wooden houses, offering handicrafts, typical gastronomic delicacies, and artistic and handicraft products from the Dolomites, are carefully set up along a pleasant pedestrian path leading from "Piaz de Ciampedel" to "Piaz Veie". There is music, there is atmosphere, there is the choreography of the decorations, the illuminations, the majestic tree, the ice fountain and, to warm you up, there is a fragrant hot mulled wine to accompany a delicious bretzel with speck and "Cuor di Fassa" cheese. Who knows, strolling among the various stalls, the last-minute gift might jump out at you...
On Immaculate Conception Day, at 4 p.m., the markets open with a concert by the Val Badia Musicians and their bagpipes.
The market is open from 8 to 10 December and from 22 December to 6 January from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (on 8 December from 4 p.m.).
