Christmas is coming, and with it the male even-voice choir from Moena, which will warm up the afternoon with its songs, some even in the Ladin language, mulled wine and a truly special Christmas atmosphere
Founded in 1981 and directed by choir master Barbara Pedrotti, the Enrosadira choir owes its name to a phenomenon in the Alps: the alpenglow ("Enrosadira"), when at dawn and dusk the peaks, illuminated by the sun's rays, are tinged with a thousand shades of red and pink, offering a breathtaking spectacle every time. The male voice choir from Moena boasts memorable international tours, with performances in Chicago, Toronto, New York, the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina and Rio de Janeiro. Trips to Sicily and Spain have also provided important opportunities for cultural exchange, particularly with the Arbëreshë (Albanian) communities of Sicily and Catalonia. In 2006, the choir was a guest of the then President of the Republic, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, a recognition that marked a prestigious milestone in its history. These experiences gave rise to the album "...color d'Enrosadira", which brings together traditional Trentino songs, mountain songs and folk songs in Ladin, Friulian and even African languages, all specially arranged for the choir.
At 5 p.m. in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building in Soraga (tourist office). Admission free.
