An experience that allows you to rediscover the history, the hard work and the ingenuity of those who, for generations, have transformed the fruits of the earth into precious flour
A rare place, where water does more than simply flow: it still stirs memories. The "Molin de Pezol", the only one of its kind in Val di Fassa, is the last remaining testament to the centuries-old art of milling and preserves the charm of ancient knowledge intact. Stepping inside is like taking a brief journey back in time, amidst the clatter of the millstones, the rhythm of the wheels and gestures that tell the story of a simple, ingenious life deeply rooted in the local landscape. During the guided tour, you will discover up close how the power of water, skilfully channelled, still drives the mill’s perfect mechanisms today. You will be able to observe the three large paddle wheels, see the barley polisher and the two grain millstones in operation, and be amazed by a nineteenth-century system that continues to work just as it did in the past.
