Self-guided multisport excursion from Pozza to Alba di Canazei, from Buffaure to Ciampac, with spectacular views and a single all-inclusive ticket
A day of adventure combining trekking and biking in an easy, scenic loop suitable for everyone. The best part? You can start right from the valley floor - no need for a car or public transport - thanks to the Buffaure and Ciampac lift systems. Your journey begins in Pozza di Fassa, where you take the gondola and chairlift up to "Col de Valvacin". From there, follow trail no. 613, a well-marked and gently undulating path leading to "Sela Brunéch". The views are breathtaking: on one side, Val San Nicolò with the jagged peaks of "Costabella" and "Col Ombert"; on the other, the unspoilt wilderness of Val Jumela. Behind you rises the Catinaccio, with the Sassolungo to the left and the Marmolada dominating the horizon. The trail continues to the green alpine basin of Ciampac, which you can also reach by chairlift. Here, take a break for lunch - either a picnic or a stop at a mountain hut - before descending by gondola to Alba di Canazei. But the adventure isn’t over yet! Hop on your bike (included with the same ticket) and ride along the cycle path back to Pozza, where you’ll return the bike at the starting point.
