From the vast expanses of Alaska to the pastures of Malga Colvere on Alpe Lusia, in the Paneveggio Nature Park, a singer-songwriter who weaves together voices, atmospheres and emotions with his guitar
I Suoni delle Dolomiti are unique encounters between music, nature and silence. In a theatre without walls, where the landscape becomes the stage, artists and audiences share the walk and the listening experience. Harmonies intertwine with the breath of the mountains in an experience that exists only here and now.
I Suoni delle Dolomiti: Quinn Christopherson Trio. Malga Colvere - Alpe Lusia (Moena), Friday 4 September at 12:00
Programme
Beautiful in winter beneath a blanket of snow and just as enchanting in summer, among pastures, Swiss stone pines and wide meadows at the foot of the Lagorai Range and the Pale di San Martino, Malga Canvere offers an ideal setting for the concert by Quinn Christopherson. A singer-songwriter from Anchorage, Alaska, Christopherson is the son of Athabaskan and Iñupiaq parents. He began making music in his early twenties, after receiving a guitar from his father. His ethereal, melancholic melodies explore themes of family, friendship, growth and identity, as in his 2022 album Write Your Name in Pink. In this mountain setting, his music blends naturally with the evocative power of the surrounding landscape.
