Two days of fantastic climbing in Campitello for the final round of the Italian Lead Climbing Cup: a spectacular display at the foot of the Dolomites
Long routes, moves that need to be read in a matter of seconds, and stamina to be managed right up to the final hold. The final round of the Italian Lead Climbing Cup brings some of Italy's finest sport climbing specialists to the walls of the ADEL climbing centre in Campitello.
Over two days, the athletes will compete on technical and demanding routes, where strength, focus and mental resilience will make all the difference. Following the rounds in Pero and Varese, Val di Fassa will bring the national circuit to a close, in a weekend that promises a fast-paced atmosphere, tension and dramatic twists.
Around a hundred climbers from all over Italy will battle it out for crucial points in the final standings, treating the public to an intense competition set against the unique backdrop of the Dolomites.
Programme:
- Saturday 13 June, from 11 am to 3 pm - men's and women's qualifying rounds (4 flash routes)
- Sunday 14 June, from 10.30 am to 1 pm - start of men's and women's semi-finals
- Sunday 14 June, 4 pm - start of the men's and women's finals, followed by the awards ceremony (5.30 pm)
The semi-finals and finals will also be streamed live on the official Climbing TV channel. Enthusiasts, curious onlookers and spectators will be able to follow the competitions directly from the viewing area of the outdoor climbing gym.
