A bike festival that allows cycling enthusiasts to enjoy a route all to themselves around the Sella massif
Are you ready to own the road around the Sella massif? Dear bikers, today is dedicated to you and your passion for bikes and for these mountains, World Heritage Site. On Saturday, June 10th and on Saturday, September 16th, from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., the road traffic is blocked in order to let the silence and the nature be the only protagonists of Sellaronda Bike Day.
The 55 km route, with 1637 m of altitude difference, develops through Val di Fassa, Gardena, Badia and Livinallongo and on Sella, Pordoi, Gardena and Campolongo passes: a binge of up and downs that - when the weather is good - gathers more than 22,000 bikers of all ages. It is a real bike happening, so there aren’t any enrolment costs (and you do not need to be associated to any association). The event is at its 17th edition and provides a "broom" service for those who are too tired.
Timetable and route:
- from Selva to Sella Pass and Gardena Pass, on the Val Gardena side, from 8.30 a.m. and by 4.00 p.m. (from the Nives square in Selva - SS 242). Reopening of the street section from the Nives square to Plan from 10.00 a.m.

On Saturday, June 10th and on Saturday, September 16th, the bus services across the Dolomites passes are suspended for the whole day.
