Between January and March, the Aloch Ski Stadium hosts the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian National Championships
Among the most technical and demanding slopes in the Dolomites, the Aloch Ski Stadium in Pozza di Fassa stands as an international benchmark for training and high-level competition. Every year it hosts the Men's European Slalom Cup and serves as a training ground for the Italian national team within the "Piste Azzurre" project, alongside numerous foreign teams and the renowned Apex 2100 International Ski Academy - one of the world's most advanced centres for developing young ski talent.
In this setting of sporting excellence, the SKILV Cup Val di Fassa (formerly the Baltic Cup) returns this winter - an Olympic year - bringing hundreds of athletes to the slopes of Pozza to contest the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian National Championships, including the junior categories. A truly distinctive event, held far from the Baltic plains, made possible by the exceptional quality of the slope and the well-established organisational expertise in Val di Fassa. Over the course of a month, between January and March, the "Aloch" transforms into a laboratory of technique and speed. The Aloch Ski Stadium is an arena reserved exclusively for professional teams and ski clubs - closed to the public and designed to enhance technical precision. With a vertical drop of 220 metres and an average gradient of 27% (maximum 49%), it ranks among the most selective runs in the Dolomites: a proving ground that demands accuracy, strength and control - essential qualities for those aspiring to the top levels of the FIS circuit.
