Vigo - Vallonga - Tamion - Vigo

foot-bridge over the stream a few metres uphill. A beautiful section of the panoramic path leads into a small valley. Continue on that road: at first it goes slightly uphill, then it evens up again and you will eventually reach an area equipped with benches, tables and a playground for children. Go to the other side of the clearing and climb down to the left along the asphalt road, until it meets an even road leading to "Valongia". Head for the village. Go up to the little church dedicated to San Giovanni Nepomuceno and here turn left. Cross diagonally the Dolomites’ main road and descend towards the "Grave", a succession of small valleys cut through by small streams easy to cross. After the second stream you will find a crossing: keep to the right. Then climb the slope (here the gradient is equally distributed) until you reach a non-asphalt road: here turn right. After only a few minutes you will arrive at "Tamion", where you can enjoy an extraordinary view over the entire Val di Fassa and the mountains around it. Go back to Vigo following from the end to the beginning the route Vigo - "Larcioné" - "Tamion" - Vigo.

Author's advice: We recommend the use of walking poles. This path is suitable for families with children and is accessible with a baby carrier.
