Where to park in Canazei or Alba di Canazei

If you're planning to use the cableway facilities, you can take advantage of free, convenient parking available at the following locations:

  • in front of the Canazei-Pecol gondola departure station
  • at the departure stations of the Alba-Col dei Rossi and Alba-Ciampac cableways


Pecol-Pian de Frataces shuttle service

A convenient and regular shuttle connects Pecol with Pian de Frataces (Lupo Bianco), making it easy to reach Col Rodella without the hassle of traffic or parking. The service runs daily from 14 June to 28 September 2025 using 40-seater city buses (16 seats + 24 standing places). Approximate journey time: 5-10 minutes.

  • from 14 to 27 June and from 1 to 28 September: every 15-20 minutes, from 08:20 to 17:15
  • from 28 June to 31 August: every 5-10 minutes, from 08:20 to 17:15

First departure from Pecol: 08:20
First departure from Pian de Frataces: 08:30
Last bus (both directions): 17:15

Yes, you can walk back from Pian de Frataces (Lupo Bianco) to Canazei by following trail no. 655 through the scenic Val Mortic.
The route is approximately 2.7 km long and takes about 45 minutes, with a descent of 295 metres and a short ascent of 16 metres.
Due to its uneven terrain and steep sections, this trail is not suitable for pushchairs.
