A journey through authentic flavours, traditions and the Ladin atmosphere: Entorn Vich is the summer's travelling festival, where every bite tells a story
As the sun sets over the Catinaccio, the village of Vigo is transformed into a culinary journey filled with encounters, traditions, flavours and moments to share. Stop by stop, along the streets of the town centre, you can savour specialities prepared with local ingredients thanks to the efforts of volunteers and chefs from the village's hotels: mountain cheeses and cured meats, carne salada (salted beef), barley soup, canederli, polenta with sausage and sauerkraut, yoghurt with wild berries and many other dishes that tell the story of the region with every bite.
Accompanying the menu will be a selection of fine drinks, from Trentino wines selected by the Consorzio Cembrani DOC to organic juices, syrups and artisanal grappas by Cianeva de la Sgnapa.
But Entorn Vich is not just about food: along the route, there will be folk dancing, live music, demonstrations of traditional crafts and activities for the whole family, thanks to the participation of the valley’s associations.
