Ways to reach Col Rodella without the cable car

While we strongly encourage using public transport and lift systems to help preserve the fragile ecosystem of the Dolomites, the Sella Pass is also accessible by car. Whenever possible, we recommend leaving your vehicle parked and choosing sustainable options, such as bus services or a combination of lifts and hiking. It’s a small choice that makes a big difference - for the mountains and for those who love them.

Parking options:

  • Canazei > Belvedere lift station, Dòlaondes Aquatic Centre, Roundabout between Canazei and Alba
  • Pian de Frataces (Lupo Bianco) > very limited parking - not recommended
  • Alba di Canazei > lifts and Gianmaria Scola ice rink
  • Sella Pass > paid parking available near Hotel Passo Sella Dolomiti Mountain Resort

Please note: No parking is available in the Pecol area.
