For the Val di Fassa Panorama Music festival, a sound journey inspired by "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino
"Mustras" is the title of the acclaimed experimental jazz album by Sardinian drummer Andrea Ruggeri (released in 2024 by Da Vinci Jazz label). The record represents a sonic journey inspired by Italo Calvino's "Invisible Cities," where each track becomes a small "mustra," that is, a fragment or a picture of everyday life. The vocal pillar and co-electronic component of this project is the vocal researcher and singer from Friuli, Elsa Martin. Her voice and artistic sensitivity rooted in the Friulian territory intertwine with Ruggeri's percussion and electronics, creating a unique geographical and cultural crossover in the contemporary Italian jazz scene. Music Band: Andrea Ruggeri – drums, compositions, live electronics, sound objects, lyrics; Elsa Martin - voice, live electronics, sound objects, lyrics; Simone Soro - violin, effects; Elia Casu - guitars, live electronics
The concert is free. The cost of the Ciampedìe cable car ticket is the responsibility of the participants.
